Am I qualified to teach?

I have spent two years becoming a certified and trained teacher in the birth place of Yoga at the best teaching schools in Rishikesh India. My qualification are certified from the American Yoga Association, my certificates include RYT-500 hours in yoga, RYT 230 hours in Meditation and Yoga Nidra

How much it cost?

Mediation and yoga for me is about sharing my knowledge and understanding, I like to work with people who are willing to make the commitment of your time and effort to grasp the art of mediation.

Course fees vary based on each individuals’ circumstances and we have several payment plans options to spread the cost. I also have special rates for students, people on government support and NHS workers.

At our free introduction meeting, we provide more information and answer any questions you may have

How soon do I see results from meditation?

Most students feel a change following the first day, and after a few days of meditation a majority of people say they feel calmer, have more energy and find their mind to a have sharper focus.

I don’t think mediation is for me it won’t work?

Mediation works for everybody, you must have open mind, wish to learn something new and follow the guidance given.

My mind doesn’t stop thinking, will I stop it for distracting me?

In my meditation techniques, I teach you to distract your mind, so it becomes less busy. 

I am so busy I want to meditate but don’t have time?

In today’s world we are very busy and have many things taking our time, it may seem like you are adding another one, but through meditation you will become calmer and more focused aiding you in your life, giving you time back.

What religion is meditation from, and does it conflict with my religious beliefs?

Meditation is not from any religion; it comes from deep roots in India’s history. It doesn’t conflict with any religion, people of all faiths practice meditation.

Do I have to change my diet and stop drinking?

The short answer is NO you don’t, you don’t have to change your lifestyle choices in order to mediate. It is proven though if you wish to kick habits, stop smoking, or reduce alcohol consumption meditation helps.

Is it group therapy where we share inner thoughts?

No it's not, as a group we only openly discuss how the techniques learnt are helping and the changes you have noticed.

Do I have to be fit to do yoga?

No. You can join a class suitable for your fitness level. For example, to join a mixed-ability yoga class, you need to be able to get up and down from the floor.

Do I need to be flexible to do yoga?

Not necessarily. Yoga will improve your flexibility and help you go beyond your normal range of movement, which may make performing your daily activities easier.

Can I injure myself doing yoga?

Yoga-related injuries are uncommon. Some injuries can be caused by repetitive strain or overstretching.

But yoga is the same as any other exercise discipline – it's perfectly safe if taught properly by people who understand it and have experience.

I am certified and qualified yoga teacher and choose a class appropriate to your level of ability.

After the course is over, what happens ?

Once you have completed the mediation course and have learned the techniques you are welcome to attend any mediation class for free as often as you like.
